This policy applies to information we collect on this Site and in text messages and emails between you and Chilled.  It does not apply to information collected by us offline.

This policy does not apply to any information collected by any third party, such as our payment processor or the provider of any content that may link to or be accessible from the Site.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

SALE OF PERSONAL DATA

We do not sell your personal data to anyone as “sell” is commonly understood. As described in the "Information Collected Automatically" section above, we have incorporated Cookies from certain third parties into our Site. These Cookies allow those third parties to receive information about your activity on our Site that is associated with your browser or device. Those third parties may use that data to show you relevant ads. Under California law, sharing your data through third party Cookies for online advertising may be considered a "sale" of information. You can opt out of these sales by following the instructions below. 

YOUR CHOICES

You can choose not to provide personal information. However, if you don’t provide us with information, you cannot sign up for our subscription service or buy products from us.  

You can opt out of marketing emails or text messages by following the instructions in any marketing emails or text messages you receive. You can also opt-out by sending us an email. 

To request changes to or to review your information, please send us an email at info@chilledfreezermeals.com. You may also email us to have your personal information deleted.

You can control cookies and tracking tools. Your browser may give you the ability to control cookies or other tracking tools. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies. To control flash cookies, which we may use on the Site from time to time, you can go here. If you block cookies on your browser, certain features on our Site may not work. If you block or delete cookies, not all of the tracking activities we have described here will stop. Choices you make are both browser and device specific. Our Do Not Track Policy. Some web browsers have a “Do Not Track” feature. This feature lets you tell websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. These features are not yet uniform across browsers. Our Site is not currently set up to respond to those signals.

WHERE WE STORE INFORMATION

Our Site is operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us may be transferred to the United States. Please also be aware that by using our Site and giving us your information, you consent to such transfer. You also understand that the U.S. may not provide the same level of protections as the laws of your country.

CHILDREN 

Our Site is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If there are any conflicts between this section and any other provision of this Privacy Policy and you are a California resident, the portion that is more protective of Personal Data shall control to the extent of such conflict.

You have the right to request certain information about our collection and use of your Personal Data over the past 12 months. We will provide you with the following information:

• The categories of sources from which that Personal Data was collected.
• The business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling your Personal Data.
• The categories of third parties with whom we have shared your Personal Data.

If we have sold your Personal Data over the past 12 months, we will identify the categories of Personal Data purchased by each category of third-party recipient.

DIRECT MARKETING OPT-OUT

We do not disclose your Personal Data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to contact us to prevent disclosure of Personal Data to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes. PERSONAL DATA SALES OPT-OUT AND OPT-IN

As explained above, California law classifies our use of non-essential cookies and other web tracking as a "sale" of personal information from which California residents have the right to opt-out. Once you have submitted an opt-out request, we will not ask you to reauthorize the sale of your Personal Data for at least 12 months. To opt-out of the sale of Personal Data, please submit a request by email to info@chilledfreezermeals.com.

DELETION

You have the right to request that we delete the Personal Data that we have collected from you. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), this right is subject to certain exceptions: for example, we may need to retain your Personal Data to provide you with services or complete a transaction or other action you have requested. If your deletion request is subject to one of these exceptions, we may deny your deletion request.

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS

To exercise the rights described above, you must send us a request that (1) provides sufficient information to allow us to verify that you are the person about whom we have collected Personal Data, and (2) describes your request in sufficient detail to allow us to understand, evaluate, and respond to it. A request that meets both criteria will be considered a valid request. We may not respond to requests that do not meet these criteria. We will only use Personal Data provided in a valid request to verify you and complete your request. You do not need an account to submit a request. We will work to respond to your valid request within 45 days of receipt. We will not charge you a fee for making a valid request unless your request(s) is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that your request warrants a fee, we will notify you of the fee and explain that decision before completing your request. 

WE WILL NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST YOU FOR EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CCPA

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA. We will not deny you our goods or services, charge you different prices or rates, or provide you a lower quality of goods and services if you exercise your rights under the CCPA. 

NEVADA RESIDENT RIGHTS

We do not sell Personal Data to third parties who intend to license or re-sell the data. If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain Personal Data to third parties who intend to license or sell that Personal Data. You can exercise this right by contacting us at info@chilledfreezermeals.com with the subject line "Nevada Do Not Sell Request" and providing us with your name and the email address associated with your account.

POLICY UPDATES

From time to time we may change our privacy practices. The latest version of this policy will be posted here. Sometimes there may be a material change to this policy that we wish to apply retroactively. If so, we will notify you and obtain your consent to the extent required by law.
